Hello and welcome,

My name is Paul. I work at Rubicon Custom Tattooing which is a tattoo studio in Leighton Buzzard. The main focus is a more personal touch, one to one for each customer, in a comfortable, interesting, clean and hygienic surrounding. The studio is fully registered and licensed.

I cover a wide range of style’s, and size’s. From the small, to the large, sleeve’s, backpiece’s, custom freehand work and largescale leg piece’s. I mainly enjoy and focus on the more traditional forms of tattooing. Adding a bit of a twist where I can. And creating something fresh and I feel the studio reflects this. My main body of work is custom. Getting a tattoo is a very personal experience and customer’s like to come away with something unique. On any given week, I am redesigning, changing, drawing customer’s idea’s and design’s. To completely drawn up set pieces. These customer’s idea’s/design’s do not appear anywhere on the website but can be viewed in the studio.

To find out more about myself, to view my work and the studio. Feel free to read on. And thank you for your custom!

Paul.

Here Is What They Are Saying

about paul

I have always had a great interest in tattoos, the art/designs, the mysterious process of tattooing and all its history and folklore since I had my first one at 19. Finally taking the plunge, I started tattooing 20yrs ago after a 10yr career in graphic design and have been hooked ever since! I have now been a professional tattoo artist for the last 18yrs or so.

I have worked mainly in Beds, Bucks and Herts. But I have also worked in Austria and Cornwall. Loving what I do, I am generally an all rounder, but I mainly enjoy traditional forms of tattooing and custom work new school/old school, Japanese, Polynesian/Maori/pattern work Borneo custom tribal, black and grey and neo traditional. I also enjoy working with bright colours, so cartoons etc are also a favourite and anything that’s goofy really!! The main body of my work is custom, and most times are drawn up especially for the individual, if not, are changed to add a personal touch. It has always been my ambition to create an environment that is a more of a one to one with the customer I have worked in several different studios over the years, and have greatly enjoyed the experience, learned a great deal and made some lifelong friends.

Now I have my own studio, to create something that is a bit different. I hope my studio reflects that I am also fully Licensed and registered.

I look forward to your custom, many thanks,
Paul.
